Oracle Fusion Order Management · stuck order or shipment · cause and fix

Shipped from source, destination can't see anything to receive

Interorg transfers travel through an IN-TRANSIT state: the source issued the goods, the destination receives against the in-transit shipment. If the destination sees nothing, the source's ship confirm never fully interfaced, the in-transit record was never born.

Root cause

Source-side interfaces incomplete → no in-transit shipment for the destination to receive.

How to fix it
  1. Verify the source leg truly completed: shipment confirmed AND interfaced (flags SQL in the shipping mode)
  2. Run Manage Shipping Interfaces on the SOURCE org
  3. Then at destination: Receiving → Receive Expected Shipments, the in-transit shipment should now appear
  4. Direct-vs-in-transit config matters: direct transfers skip receiving entirely, check the interorg parameters before hunting a 'missing' receipt
