The structure

Their top need → your matching strength → proof (a result) → a confident one-line close.

Example answer

"You said you need someone who can own onboarding and reduce churn. In my last role I redesigned onboarding and cut first-90-day churn by a third. I'd bring that same playbook here — I'm confident I can make an impact in the first quarter."

Tips

  • Read the job description for their top 2-3 priorities and answer those.
  • Lead with results, not adjectives.
